Particularly substantial, above 70%, were the increases for steel, with a peak of 113% for steel strips used in road barriers and 84% for Corten steel sheets. For timber, a price increase of 78% was detected, for bitumen of 36%.

The decree of the Ministry of Infrastructure has been signed certifying the increases in materials for public works in the 2nd half of 2021 and giving the right to compensation on materials that exceed increases of 8%: these are 54 of the 56 materials put under observation (see the table at the end of the article).
